Sep. 27th, 2005 04:35 pmSpike's leaning across the big two-person chair the wrong way, his arm on the chair's arm, holding up his head. He's got a cigarette burning in the ashtray and a can of Coke on the table and he's watching the TV he brought back from the Bebop that time, now that Beth's shown him how to make sure the VCR's all hooked up and going.
The problem is this: Seven Samurai's a classic film, but he's bored with it. It's not that great. Too much talk, not enough action, too slow.
But watching it beats getting completely hammered down at the bar.
And pretty soon, he hopes, Beth will walk through that door and then boring movies and lack of motivation won't be issues any more.
