He's really goddamn sweet. There's no doubt about that. And she does kind of wonder about all the women he's known if she's the absolute best, but at this point she's not sure it wouldn't bother her more if he didn't think that about her.

It's kind of a funny thought, but it's there. And it's certainly evidence that she loves him.

"I hope you don't mind if there's a party crasher." She waggles her captured finger very gently. "She'll probably sleep through it all anyway. We can put her in the swing."

And it'll almost be like it's a private party. A private party where there's a newborn baby in a swing.

She can live with that.
