A pattern of little bumps rises on her skin, just from that little kiss.
Her eyelids lower a little, almost but not quite sleepily, and it's her turn to aim a smile at Beth Junior.
"Good."
She barely nods her head. Being just about perfectly content right now... well, it's pretty much the best they can ask for, she thinks.
And perfectly content right now isn't too goddamn bad.
Moving slightly away from Spike, she raises up enough to take little Beth in her arms, and then she rolls over onto her back there next to Spike, resting the baby on top of her.
