It's not that she's not curious. She is. But she lived in an abandoned church for two years, then in this (Spike's) room above the bar for two more. It goes without saying that they're going to have more space: it's that whole rooms versus room thing.
This is an unknown she's not afraid of jumping into blindly, and whatever their rooms look like, she's pretty sure she can be content with them.
Swiping the last few things in the baby drawer, she tucks them into the box in front of her and stops to steal a glance at the baby in her basket before turning to give Spike a smile.
